The Girlguiding UK Recycling Appeal is run by Redeem plc, an award winning firm started in 1999.

When Redeem realised that most used mobile phones and printer cartridges were being thrown in the bin we created Recycling Appeal, a socially conscious collection programme that would help us influence customer behaviour while benefiting worthy causes.

Through the Girlguiding UK Recycling Appeal, Scouts Appeal, Recycool (our schools programme) and Recycling Appeal, Redeem has contributed more than £2 million to good causes. Our new program Money 4 UR Mobile allows people to be paid cash for their old mobile phones.

Redeem is based in Falkirk, in the central belt of Scotland .
